The bright vibrant colors just POP on literally any background. I opted to do ours on a living room mirror since our chalkboard was already packed up by the time these arrived. I'm actually pleased! I know i stated a few were DOA. I wasn't bothered by it because they were colors i wasn't real fond of anyways.
But you seriously have A TON of colors to play with and we love these! My daughter has stolen them from me and now she uses them in her room.. UGH kids i tell ya!
